How do I know when it's time to seek couples therapy?

Answer from our relationship expert:

1) Communication has broken down. 2) Trust has been severely damaged. 3) You're considering separation or divorce. 4) The same conflicts arise repeatedly without resolution. 5) There's a significant life change or transition. 6) Intimacy or affection has diminished. 7) One or both partners have been unfaithful. 8) You feel emotionally disconnected. 9) There are unresolved issues from the past. 10) You want to strengthen an already good relationship.

"Therapy is not about fixing what is broken, but about rediscovering what is already whole." - Unknown

Guidance & steps forward:

Don't wait until the situation is critical. View therapy as a tool for growth, not failure. Both partners should be willing to participate. Research therapists to find a good fit. Set clear goals for what you want to achieve in therapy.
